on the last day of summer, i did it
i woke up with the sun already risen. today is the last day of summer and i want to do something BIG … i stared at my ceiling like i used to then i reached for my planner under my bed.
i leafed through the pages and found my list of things-to-do-during-the-summer, i’ am glad that all i wanted to experience were experienced but there’s this only thing i haven’t accomplished.

i was sad to realize that although 12 of the things that i listed were accomplished, it’s still not a sweep.
i turned to my phone and checked my facebook. maybe, out of sadness or just by some good chance, i looked at Banchetto’s facebook page and what i saw made me jump out of my bed and got dress for the next 30 minutes.
by 9:00 i was on the way to Banchetto, Emerald Avenue, a ONE-DAY-ONLY fair of Banchetto to add life to a cycling event.
i was so excited.
on the last day of summer, i did it. i accomplished all that i wanted to.

PS. a lot of people wonder why i manage to go on my own, well i just do :)
